| "Lemon Slices" 8x6" Oil on canvas panel The pinkish-lavender drop cloth I used behind this still-life cast an-almost-shrimp color of light on the inside of the lemon slice next to the knife. This transformation made it appear as a miniature grapefruit. It's always a surprise to see what tricks bouncing light can play.
